As of 18 July 2018, a revised regulation on conformity assessment modules (applied to certification, declaration and product registration) entered into force in the EAEU. The conformity assessment modules are to be applied by manufacturers, importers and persons authorised by manufacturers in order demonstrate product conformity with the requirements imposed by EAEU Technical Regulations.
The adopted regulation describes each module step by step and indicates which documentation is to be submitted by applicants to which authorised body. The regulation also sets out procedure for registering conformity declarations and certificates, the conditions on which conformity assessment documents can be terminated, etc.
Holders of existing conformity declarations, registration and other certificates do not need to renew or reissue these documents which will remain valid during their normal validity period.
