Kyrgyzstan is now a full member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)

On 12 August 2015 the Treaty on the Accession of the Kyrgyzstan to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (the EAEU) entered into force resulting in Kyrgyzstan becoming a full-fledged member of the Union along with Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

The accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EAEU means that there are no more barriers for this country to the free movements of goods, services, capital and workers within the EAEU.

The Kyrgyzstan citizens now have the full right of employment in any state of the Union on the same terms as the citizens of state of their employment.

The time frame for the EAEU Technical Regulations becoming compulsory for Kyrgyzstan as well as the transitional periods for the implementation of these Technical Regulations in Kyrgyzstan will be published at a later stage.
