Draft law would restrict the content of synthetic fabric in children hosiery to 25%

According to the draft law, the content of synthetic fabric in children hosiery must not exceed 25%. If the draft law is adopted, the amendments would be made to the state sanitary norms and rules "Textile, fur and leather materials and products. Main hygienic requirements".

The new edition of the requirements (the first part of clause 3.10) would prohibit to put on the market any hosiery intended for children between 0 and 3 years of age with the content of synthetic fabric exceeding 25%.

The second part of clause 3.10 would remain the same. It would still be permitted to use mixed fabric (50% natural and 50% synthetic) for the hosiery intended for children between 3 and 7 years of age.

The aim of the draft law is to harmonise the Ukrainian requirements with the EU standards.
