The Eurasian Economic Commission Collegiate has adopted transitional periods for the implementation of Eurasian Technical Regulations in Armenia. The Republic of Armenia has recently become a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (the EEU).
Transitional periods have been set for the EEU Technical regulations as well as the deadlines for the validity period of conformity assessment (certification) documents issued or adopted in accordance with the national law of Armenia before the EEU regulations have become applicable in Armenia. Thus, the manufacture and release on the market of meat, dairy, juices, cosmetics and toys under the national law is permitted until 2 January 2018. For furniture the deadline is 2 January 2019 and for wheeled transport vehicles – 2 January 2022.
