As of 10 January 2023, the EAEU Decision No. 44 of 18 April 2018 on Standard Conformity Assessment Modules was amended.
The amendments revised the circumstances when a conformity certificate and/or annexes to such a certificate or a declaration of conformity can be reissued without the holder having to undergo a conformity assessment procedure once again. Such circumstances include:
- Change of the organisational and legal form, location (registered address or the actual address, if different), phone number or email address of the applicant (the holder of the certificate) or of the product manufacturer;
- Renaming of the relevant geographic location, including the postal code of the actual place of product manufacture, provided that the actual location stays the same;
- Change of the company’s name, provided that the actual production place stays the same and the company ID number does not change;
- Change of the product’s customs tariff code (TN VED code); etc.
