As of 15 April 2023, cosmetics and perfumery imported into the EAEU must comply with additional restrictions. Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated April 15, 2022 N 64 "On Amendments to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On the Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetic Products" (TR CU 009/2011)" amended the EAEU TR on Cosmetics and Perfumery and extended the list of substances the use of which in cosmetics and perfumery is prohibited.
The substances have been added to the list of chemicals the use of which in cosmetics and perfumery is prohibited (Annex 1 to the TR on Cosmetics and Perfumery) includeЖ
- zinc borate,
- 2-Chlorobenzene-1,4-diamine (2-Chloro-p-Phenylenediamine), its sulphate and dihydrochloride salts (when used as a substance in hair dye products, including eyebrow dye products, and eyelash dye products),
- dichloromethane,
- boric acid,
- hydroxylammonium nitrate,
- cobalt diacetat;
- butane, if it contains 0,1% w/w Butadiene; etc.
