The Eurasian Economic Commission conducted public discussion of draft lists of standards that will be used to comply with and to fulfill the requirements of the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the safety of chemical products" (TR EAEU 041/2017) also called the “EurAsian REACH” or "Russian REACH" regulation.
The lists included:
- international and interstate standards, and in their absence - national standards, that can be used voluntary and that give a presumption of conformity with the requirements of TR EAEU 041/2017;
- international and interstate standards, and in their absence, national standards containing the rules and methods of research (testing) and measurements, including the rules for sampling, necessary for the application and implementation of the requirements of TR EAEU 041/2017.
These lists were drafted on the basis of proposals made by the federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation, authorized bodies of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, business entities and the scientific community, and include interstate standards and national standards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Comments were being accepted from August 01 to September 30, 2022. Draft documents are available on the legal portal of the EAEU.
