Amended Rules for Conducting Energy Efficiency Audit
Starting from 18 January 2016 organisations that intend to perform energy efficiency audit do not have to appoint an “energy manager” in order to organize energy efficiency audit. The amendments introduce the requirement that the results of an energy efficiency audit must contain the information on energy efficiency marking of the audited buildings and structures. The amendments also change the prescribed structure of the results of an energy efficiency audit.
Regular energy efficiency audit is currently compulsory for all organisations which are major energy consumers and which have been included into the State Energy Register. The prescribed frequency of energy efficiency audit is every five years.
