As of 7 November 2022 manufacturers and importers of toys are to comply with the adopted revised list of Moldova national standards that are equivalent to the harmonised European standards on toy safety.
The list of standards consists of 11 positions and includes
- EN IEC 62115:2020 Electric toys — Safety EN IEC 62115:2020/A11:2020;
- EN 71-12:2016 Safety of toys - Part 12: N-Nitrosamines and Nitrosatable substances;
- EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021 Safety of toys - Part 3: Migration of certain elements;
- EN 71-2:2020 Safety of toys - Part 2: Flammability; etc.
The list of toy safety standards adopted by Order No. 39 of 31 March 2021 on the List of Moldavian Standards that Adopt Harmonised EU Standards under the Toy Safety Regulation is to be repealed and replaced.
