In response to the prolongation of the EU sanctions, Russia intends to extend the list of products the import of which from the EU is prohibited.
The list will be supplemented by canned fish, non-lactose dairy products and, possibly, some other food. The list of banned products will almost certainly include cheese-like products made of plant oils. The reason for this is that “normal” cheese is currently being imported into Russia under the guise of “non-lactose products”.
The new list is now being developed by the Ministry of Agriculture.
