On 24 April 2017, public discussion has started on the draft Order introducing model training program for the additional occupational training of personnel admitted to collection, processing, utilization and disposal of class I-IV wastes (hazardous waste management training program). Public discussion is to be completed on 8 May 2017.
The reason for the introduction of such a model training program is that currently there is no unified training program for the personnel performing hazardous waste management operations.
The training program is to be adopted is planned to be adopted in July 2017, with no transitional period.
