Starting from 2 May 2017, all employers must organize a special introductory training on civil defence for all newly employed personnel. This requirement was introduced by Decree No. 470 of 19 April 2017.
This impact of this requirement is that all employers must now develop an additional training program on civil defence issues. Organisations must organize civil defence training for all newly employed personnel within one month from the date they commenced working for the organisation in question.
Non-compliance with the civil defence training requirement will result, for employers, in a financial penalty from RUR 100,000 to 200,000.
