As of 13 July 2017, manufacturers and importers of simple pressure vessels have to comply with the provisions of Technical Regulation on Simple Pressure Vessels.
Any pressure vessels that comply with the Technical Regulation on high pressure vessels (to be revoked on 13 July 2017) and which were placed on the market before 13 July 2017, may remain on the market without any rework or reassessment of conformity. Such vessels may not be withdrawn from the market only because of their non-compliance with the Technical Regulation on Simple Pressure Vessels adopted on 28 December 2016.
Technical Regulation on Simple Pressure Vessels has been developed on the basis of the Directive 2014/29/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available on the market of simple pressure vessels. However, any pressure vessel placed on the Ukrainian market must bear the national conformity sign of Ukraine. A Declaration of Conformity must either be compiled in Ukrainian or translated into Ukrainian.
