As of 29 September 2018, the lists of regulated drug precursors are to be amended. For example, for 1-phenyl-2-nitropropene, that is included into the list of controlled precursors, the requirement to its controlled concentration will be removed (currently – 15% or more).
Drug precursor diphenylacetonitrile in concentration of 3% or more is to be moved from Table III of List IV listing drug precursors the circulation of which is restricted and which may be exempt from some restrictive measures to Table II of List IV of precursors the circulation of which is restricted and to which the common regulatory restrictions are to be applied. This means that as of 29 September 2018, diphenylacetonitrile is to be subject to additional restrictions.
Table I listing precursors the circulation of which is restricted and for which special restrictive and controlling measures are applied, is to include additional substances, such as Methyl-3-phenylpropylamine ((Methyl) (3-phenylpropyl) azane) and N-phenethyl-4-piperidinone (1- (2-Phenylethyl) piperidin-4-one) (NPP).
Table III of List IV is to include Differentiation acid, Ethyl phenylacetate (ethyl phenylacetic acid ethyl) and Methylphenyl acetate (methyl ester phenylacetic acid).
