As of 10 July 2018, organisations operating air pollution abatement equipment (air purifying installations) are required to comply with the adopted revised set of requirements.
The adopted requirements do not apply to:
Air purification equipment for mobile emission sources;
Equipment that is a part of technological equipment and that does not emit polluting substances directly into the ambient air; and
Equipment that is located inside any production premises and that does not emit any polluting substances directly into the ambient air.
The adopted requirements regulate the operation of polluting abatement equipment, including its technical service, inspections and repair works.
