As of 1 January 2018, labour inspectors are to be empowered to check accessibility of workplaces by disabled employees as well as special workplaces where disabled employees are working and working conditions of disabled employees, during labour inspections of organisations.
Requirements for the equipment of workplaces for disabled employees have been adopted by Order No. 685n of 19 November 2013. For example, employers must equip workplaces of employees with hearing impairment with special sound-amplifying devices and/or telephones with sound amplifiers.
