As of 22 April 2019, it is no longer possible to import from Russia into Ukraine a number of additional types of products. Ukraine has extended the list of products subject to an import ban from the Russian Federation. The added products include:
- glass jars for conservation (sterilizing jars);
- bottles for food and beverages made of colourless glass with a nominal capacity of 2.5 litres or more;
- glass containers with a nominal capacity of 2.5 litres or more;
- bottles for food and beverages made of colourless glass with a nominal capacity of 1 l or more but less than 2.5 l;
- bottles for food and beverages made of colourless glass with a nominal capacity of more than 0.33 litres but less than 1 litre;
- bottles for food and beverages made of colourless glass with a nominal capacity of 0,15 l or more but not more than 0,33 l;
- bottles for food and beverages made of coloured glass with a nominal capacity of 1 liter or more but less than 2.5 litres;
- bottles for food and beverages made of coloured glass with a nominal capacity of more than 0.33 litres but less than 1 litre;
- bottles for food and beverages made of coloured glass with a nominal capacity of 0,15 l or more, but not more than 0,33 l;
- glass containers for food and beverages, other nominal capacity of 0,25 litres or more, but less than 2,5 litres; and
- glass containers for food and beverages, others with a nominal capacity of less than 0.25 litres.
The original list of products subject to an import ban from the Russian Federation was adopted by Decree No. 1147 of 30 December 2015 and includes a wide range of products, such as different types of meat and fish, tea, coffee, beer, vodka, insecticides, pure PVC, etc.
