Hygienic requirements for dietary supplements entered into force
As of 24 January 2017 manufacturers and suppliers of dietary supplements must comply with the adopted hygienic requirements. The requirements entered into force on 24 January 2016 but dietary supplements that have been manufactured and/or put on the market before 24 January 2017 and that do not comply with these requirements, may still be sold in Ukraine until their stated expiry date.
The requirements apply to the composition, labelling, advertising, the manufacturing process of dietary supplements and some other requirements.
For instance, a label of a dietary supplement must specify the product name “dietary supplement”, the recommended daily dosage, a warning not to exceed the stated dosage, the information that dietary supplements are not a substitute for a healthy diet, etc.
The label and advertising must not contain certain statements. For example, they must not say anything about the possible medical effect of the supplement or a painkiller effect.

Amended rules for the construction and design of electrical installations
Orders No. 795 and 796 of 8 December 2015 amended the rules for the construction and design of electrical installations. The amendments were made to the part regulating distributing devices and sub-stations and to the part regulating electrical power installations.

New environmental tax reporting form
The tax authorities have reminded that payers of environmental tax must use the new tax reporting form for the IV quarter of 2015. The reporting period is a calendar quarter and the payers must submit the form to the tax authorities within 40 calendar days from the end of the quarter for which the report has been submitted.
