As of 6 December 2022, manufacturers and importers of radio equipment in Ukraine are required to use a revised list of standards that ensure compliance with the Ukrainian Technical Regulation on the Safety of Radio-Equipment.
The list contains Ukrainian standards that are identical to EU Harmonised Standards listed under Directive 2014/53/EC (the Radio Equipment Directive or “RED”).
The list consists of 46 positions and includes the following standards:
- DSTU EN 55035:2019 (EN 55035:2017, IDT; CISPR 35:2016, MOD) – identical to Electromagnetic compatibility of multimedia equipment — Immunity Requirements;
- DSTU ETSI EN 300 086:2018 (ETSI EN 300 086:2016, IDT) – identical to EN 300 086 V2.1.2 Land Mobile Service; Radio equipment with an internal or external RF connector intended primarily for analogue speech;
- DSTU ETSI EN 300 220-2:2017 (ETSI EN 300 220-2:2017, IDT) – identical to EN 300 220-2 V3.1.1 Short Range Devices (SRD) operating in the frequency range 25 MHz to 1 000 MHz; etc.
Additional requirements for the commissioning and / or use of radio equipment and aimed at the effective use of the radio frequency resource of Ukraine, in order to avoid harmful interference, electromagnetic interference or risks to public health, are set out by the Plan for the use of the radio frequency resource of Ukraine, approved by Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on June 09, 2006 N 815.
