Import of goods from outside of the Customs Union should not be suspended for formal reasons only

From 24 to 26 October 2012 the Department of Sanitary, Phytosanitary and Veterinary Measures of the Euro-Asian Economic Commission (EAEC) considered, at its working group meeting, the issues regarding the agreement on two-party veterinary certificates of the European Union and of the Customs Union. The meeting adopted an amendment to the Common Veterinary Requirements pertaining to products subject to the veterinary control (supervision).

Notification published on the commencement of an anti-dumping investigation regarding polymer-coated rolled metal products originating from the People’s Republic of China and imported into the Customs Union territory.

Special duty on stainless steel pipes

Decision No. 706 of 22 June 2011 imposes a special duty on stainless (corrosion-resistant) steel pipes with the external diameter of up to 426 mm, amounting to 9,9% of the customs value of the products but no less than USD 1500 per one ton of the goods.

Anti-dumping duty for imported bearings originated from China

Decision No. 705 of 22 June 2011 imposes an anti-dumping duty for imported bearings originated from China (including Taiwan and special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao). The duty applies to products classified under the following codes of TN VED TS: 8482 10 100 1, 8482 10 100 2, 8482 10 100 9, 8482 10 900 1, 8482 10 900 2, 8482 10 900 3, 8482 10 900 8, 8482 20 000 1, 8482 20 000 2, 8482 20 000 9, 8482 30 000 1, 8482 30 000 9, 8482 50 000 1, 8482 50 000 2, 8482 50 000 9, 8482 80 000 1, 8482 80 000 2, 8482 80 000 9, 8482 91 100 0, 8482 91 900 0, 8482 99 000 0.

Special duty for imported stainless cutlery

Decision No. 704 of 22 June 2011 sets, until 26 December 2012 a special duty which amounts to USD 1,4 per one kilo of imported stainless cutlery, classified under the following codes: 8211 91 300 0, 8215 20 100 0, 8215 99 100 0.

This duty does not apply to the import of stainless steel cutlery originated from any of the developing countries benefiting from tariff preferences, except the People’s Republic of China (including Taiwan and special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao).

Special duty for imported fasteners

Decision No. 703 of 22 June 2011 sets, until 17 March 2014 a special duty of USD 282,4 for each ton of imported fasteners classified under the following codes: 318 15 810 0, 7318 15 890 0, 7318 15 900 9, 7318 16 910 9, 7318 16 990 0, 7318 21 000 9. The products include bolts made of iron or steel (ferrous metals), hex or round head, hex nuts made of ferrous metals, etc.

 

For the purposes of this duty the goods are identified by TN VED TS codes and by the product name.

Anti-dumping duties for some imported products

Decision No. 702 of 22 June 2011 sets, until 18 November 2015 anti-dumping duties for the following imported products:

–       Pipe casings, originating from Ukraine and classified under the following codes: 7304 24 100 1, 7304 24 100 2, 7304 24 100 3, 7304 24 100 4, 7304 24 100 9, 7304 24 900 1, 7304 24 900 9, 7304 29 100 1, 7304 29 100 2, 7304 29 100 3, 7304 29 100 4, 7304 29 100 9, 7304 29 900 1 and 7304 29 900 9 – in the amount equal 18,9% of the customs value of the products;

Anti-dumping duty for imported bearing pipes

Decision No. 701 of 22 June 2011 imposes, until 16 June 2013, anti-dumping duty of 19,4% of the customs value of imported bearing pipes originated from the People’s Republic of China (including Taiwan and special administrative areas of Hong Kong and Macao), classified under the following codes of 7304 51 120 0, 7304 51 180 1, 7304 51 180 9, 7304 51 810 0, 7304 51 890 0, 7304 59 320 0, 7304 59 380 0, 7304 59 920 0, 7304 59 930 0 and 7304 59 990 0.

Anti-dumping duty for imported synthetic nylon threads

Decision No. 700 of 22 June 2011 sets, until 24 September 2013 anti-dumping duty amounting to 11,6%  of the customs value of imported synthetic nylon threads with the density from 29 to 250 tex, originating from Ukraine and classified under the following codes of the Goods Nomenclature of the Customs Union (TN VED TS): 5402 19 000 0, 5402 45 000 0, 5402 51 000 0 and 5402 61 000 0.

 

For the purposes of this duty the goods are identified by TN VED TS codes and by the product name.

Anti-dumping customs duties for imported nickel-containing flat rolls

Decision No. 699 of 22 June 2011 sets, until 25 December 2013 anti-dumping customs duties for imported nickel-containing flat rolls made of corrosion-resistant steel (in sheets or rolls) with the nickel content 2,5% and over, originating from Brasil, China (including Taiwan and special administrative territories of Hong Kong and Macao), Republic of Korea and South African Republic.
