Uzbekistan has ratified Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants

Stockholm Convention (the POPs Convention) is an international treaty that sets out a set of measures aimed at restriction or prohibition of POPs emissions as a result of their intentional or non-intentional use. The aim of the treaty is to protect human health and the environment from the negative impact of persistent organic pollutants. 

EAEU: Revised technical regulation on perfumery and cosmetic products

As of 6 May 2020 manufacturers and importers of cosmetics and perfumery into the EAEU are required to comply with the revised Technical Regulation (TR) on the Safety of Cosmetics and Perfumery.

The amendments to the TR were introduced by Decision No. 32 of 29 March 2019 (published 6 May 2019).

Russia: Amended list of regulated narcotics, psychotropic substances and their precursors

As of 1 January 2019, the list of controlled narcotics, psychotropic substances and their precursors has been amended. The list of such substances and their precursors was adopted by Decree No. 681 of 30 June 1998. As a result of the amendments, several substances were added to List I and II.
