Russia: Adopted list of products subject to compulsory identification marking

Starting from 1 January 2019 manufacturers or importers of products included into the adopted List are required to ensure that these products bear the required identification marks. The list indicates when dates when the requirement to place identification marks enters into force for each product group.

Russia: Clarification on some waste management issues

Federal Service on the Supervision of the Use of Natural Resources (RosPrirodNadzor) which is the Russian environmental law enforcement agency has issued a clarification letter on a number of waste management issues.

Belarus: Approved fire safety rules for storing substances and materials

As of 18 May 2018, organisations that operate warehouses or storage areas for materials and substances are required to comply with the rules adopted by Instruction on Storing Substances and Materials. The Instruction imposes storage requirements aimed at ensuring fire safety at industrial and other facilities and warehouses.

Russia: Adopted Regulation on issuing clinical trial permits

As of 21 April 2018, developers of pharmaceuticals (the Applicants) are required to follow the adopted procedure if they wish to obtain a permit for a clinical trial for their pharmaceuticals.

The state agency responsible for issuing clinical trial permits is the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation.

EAEU: The business must guarantee product safety

Members of the EAEU Collegium adopted, on 20 March 2018, the revised procedure for registration, suspension, renewal and termination of declarations of conformity for products that comply with the requirements of Eurasian Economic Union technical regulations.
