As of 20 September 2017, organisations discharging wastewater into surface water bodies (whether directly or indirectly) will be assigned wastewater discharge limits (including the maximum concentrations of polluting substances) in accordance with the adopted Regulation.
As of 9 June 2017, organisations intending to implement projects that aim to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and absorption increase, are required to follow the revised procedure in order to have such projects approved by the relevant authority in Kazakhstan.
As of 13 July 2017, manufacturers and importers of simple pressure vessels have to comply with the provisions of Technical Regulation on Simple Pressure Vessels.
Starting from 2 June 2021 importers and manufacturers of chemical products are to comply with the provisions of Technical Regulation on Safety of Chemical Products (TR EAEU 041/2017) – “TR”. The purpose of the adopted TR is protection of life and health of the EAEU population as well as of the environment and prevention of consumer misleading regarding the application and safety of chemical products.
Environmental offences
State Ecology Committee has published draft amendments to the Administrative Offences Code of Uzbekistan (CAO). If adopted, these amendments will result in an increase of financial penalties for a number of environmental offences.
Starting from 1 April 2018 all manufacturers and importers of radio equipment in Ukraine are required to comply with the adopted Technical Regulation (TR) on the safety of radio electronic equipment, subject to the set transitional period. The adopted TR is in line with the European Directive 2014/53/EU relating to the making available on the market of radio equipment.
Adopted rules for dangerous goods transportation by inland waterways
