As of 1 April 2018 manufacturers and importers of radio-electronic equipment will be required to comply with the adopted Technical Regulation (RE-TR).
Until 1 April 2019 circulation of products that do not comply with the adopted RE-TR must not be restricted, provided that these products were put into circulation before 1 April 2018 and that they comply with the TR on radio equipment adopted by Decree No. 679 of 24 June 2009, TR on electromagnetic compatibility, adopted by Decree No. 1077 of 16 December 2015 and TR on low voltage equipment adopted by Decree No. 1067 of 16 December 2015.
The adopted RE-TR, which was officially published 2 June 2017, is fully harmonized with the provisions of the European Radio Equipment Directive (Directive 2014/53/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available on the market of radio equipment and repealing Directive 1999/5/EC) or “RE-D”.
