What is a Conformity Declaration of the Customs Union?

A conformity declaration of the Customs Union is a document which confirms that the products for which the declaration is issued are in compliance with the requirements of the applicable Customs Union Technical Regulations.

Decision No. 293 of the Euro-Asian Economic Commission Collegiate of 25 December 2012 adopted requirements pertaining to the issuance of conformity declarations.

Who Issues a Conformity Declaration of the Customs Union?

A manufacturer, seller or a representative of a foreign manufacturer (performing its functions on a basis of a contract) who is incorporated or registered as a legal person or a sole trader in the Customs Union territory may issue a conformity declaration of the Customs Union.

How to Issue a Conformity Declaration of the Customs Union?

A conformity declaration must be issued in the prescribed form, in Russian language and with the use of electronic printing devices (i.e. not by handwriting). The form was adopted by Decision No. 293 of the Euro-Asian Economic Commission Collegiate of 25 December 2012.

A conformity declaration must be printed on a sheet of A4 white paper (210 x 297 mm).

All fields of the declaration must be completed, if applicable.
