The public discussion of the proposed amendments to the EEU Technical Regulation on the Safety of Equipment Operating at Excessive Pressure (TR TS 032/2013) is taking place from 21 December 2016 to 18 February 2017. The proposed amendments aim to introduce some new definitions and to align the provisions of the TR with the Directive 2014/68/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available on the market of pressure equipment. In particular, the amendments propose to insert new definitions of “fire-heated vessels”, “pipelines”, etc.
