Zero import duties may be set for a number of organic chemicals

Draft decision to set zero import customs duties on a number of organic chemicals was published on 2 October 2013.

According to the draft decision, zero import customs duties would apply to the following chemicals:

-          propylene glycol (propane-1,2-diol);

-          cyclenic or cycloterpenic monocarboxylic acids, their anhydrides, halides, peroxides, peroxyacids and their derivatives;

-          ureines and their derivatives as well as the salts of these compounds;

-          lactams;

-          benzimidazole-2-thiol (mercapto) monoazepiny; diazepines;

-          compounds containing in the structure an unfused thiazole ring (whether or not hydrogenated); etc.
