As of 15 May 2018, importers and manufacturers of veterinary medicines and feed additives are required to comply with the provisions of the adopted Technical Regulation (TR) on the Safety of Veterinary Medicines and Feed Additives.
The adopted TR applies to ready-to-use chemical-pharmaceutical and biological medicines and feed additives.
As of 20 October 2017, all organisations and sole traders are prohibited to retail any ethanol-containing nonfoods as well as ethanol-containing food additives and flavourings for another 180 days. It is prohibited to retail any ethanol-containing products with the ethanol content exceeding 28% if such products are sold at a price (per 0,5l) that is lower than the price set for alcoholic drinks with the ethanol content above 28% by Order No. 58n of 11 May 2016.
The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EAEU) adopted the programme for the development, revision and amendment of standards that contain testing rules and methods (including sample taking procedure) for the Technical Regulation that restricts the contents of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EAEU RoHS).
As of 13 December 2017, manufacturers and importers of milk and dairy products are to use the revised list of standards the voluntary use of which ensures compliance with the Technical Regulation on the Safety of Milk and Dairy Products (TR TS 033/2013).
The adopted Decision provides that all conformity assessment documents issued or adopted for products subject to Technical Regulation (TR) on Packaged Drinking Water (TR EAEU 044/2017) before this TR enters into force (i.e. 1 January 2019) are to remain valid until their normal expiry date but not beyond 1 July 2020.
The Russian Federal Healthcare Supervision Service (RosZdravNadzor) published a letter clarifying how safety of medical oxygen cylinders is regulated.
The Federal Agency on the Supervision of the Use of Natural Resources has published a clarification on handling steel used oil and gas pipes.
The Agency explained that the Federal Classification Waste Catalogue (FKKO) includes a group of wastes called “used steel oil and gas pipes”. Therefore, such used pipes are considered as “wastes” and their handling is regulated by the Federal Law on Industrial and Consumer Wastes No. 89-FZ.
As of 26 November 2017, all organisations that produce, sell, test, assemble, service or operate x-ray inspection installations with the maximum energy of up to 15 MeV (e.g. those used for luggage inspection) are required to comply with the adopted safety rules. The Rules to not apply to x-ray scanners used for the inspection of people.

Before commencing work all security personnel must undergo occupational safety training on the safe methods of security work.
All veterinary medicines for which a registration application was submitted before 27 November 2017, the instruction must contain information set out by the adopted Order.
Any instruction for a veterinary use of a medicine must contain information on:
- The name of the medicine;
Occupational exposure limits, HS management, health and safety training, H&S management, occupational safety rules
Environmental liability, waste management, air protection, water management, hazardous substances management, dangerous goods transportation, use of chemicals…
Cosmetics, food, electronics, chemicals, clothing, textiles, other consumer goods
