Revised list of standards required for the application and implementation of the Eurasian Economic Union TR on Cosmetics

EAEU: Cosmetic Technical Regulation Amended

As of 25 January 2017 manufacturers and importers of cosmetic products in the EAEU (the former Customs Union) will have to issue a conformity declaration pursuant to one of the prescribed schemes: 3d, 4d or 6d. 

EEU: Technical regulation on the safety of cosmetics and perfumery

Technical Regulation on the Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetic Products, TR CU 009/2011 or TR TS 009/2011, adopted by the Customs Union Commission Decision No. 799 of 23 September 2011

Entry into force: 1 July 2012

Which products does the TR on the Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetics apply to?

The TR applies to cosmetics and perfumery released on the Customs Union market in consumer packaging.

Zero import duty set for waste and scrap titanium

As of 18 September 2015 until 31 December 2016 the import duty on waste and scrape titanium is 0% from its customs value. This import duty rate was adopted by the Eurasian Economic Commission Collegiate Decision No. 90 of 18 August 2015.

When do the EEU Technical Regulations enter into force in Armenia?

The dates for the entry into force of the Customs Union Technical Regulations in Armenia are set by Decision No. 28 of the Eurasian Economic Commission Collegiate of 14 April 2015 sets out the transitional periods for entering into force of the Customs Union Technical Regulations in Armenia.
